House of Ruth

House of Ruth strengthens lives for those with or affected by HIV/AIDS. They offer housing and support services for those who are HIV positive, as well as their family members who count on them for financial and emotional support.

Founded in 1992, House of Ruth was incorporated to meet the local service needs of women and children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. The service population has since expanded to include men. Each year, more than 1,100 people, including nearly 300 children and 700 family are impacted by the service.

Client services currently include housing programs, case management, children’s programs, financial assistance, social gatherings, and advocacy/education.
